Okay, went out to replace the u-joints in the driveshaft today. Got the front yoke off, but could not get the darn things out of the driveshaft. The ears on the shaft are either too thick or the u-joint too narrow to get it out by pressing. I was using a u-joint press by the way. It pushes the cup out about 1/4 inch then binds up. How do I get the bleeping cups out. Last time I ran into this I wimped out and took the shaft to the dealer, but I wanna get it this time. Any ideas??

I heated the driveshaft with a propane torch to kake it expand around the u joints and tapped the u joints out with a hammer and socket. When I re-installed the u joints I put the new u joints in the freezer for a few hours to shrink them and heated the driveshaft again and they slid in real easy.
