I can't believe it... after 11 years of changing oil on my '90 the damn drain plug just stripped out the threads in the pan!!!
I do NOT have time to install a new pan in the near future. As a temp fix, I tapped it to 1/4 pipe & stuck in a brass plug. But I don't like it nor trust it.

Well I don't know how bad you screwed it up putting a pipe plug in there but there are oversized, self-tapping plugs available at some parts stores for such a situation. Not the best fix, but they usually work for a time.
with the KID, but I don't think you need a bigger pan-unless you are going to the track, on another note, I'd just take the pan in and have it repaired, no big deal.Just a PIA

I've got an aftermarket plug that's been on for years. Works great and no problems. It has a selftapping thread.
Thanks guys, picked up the selftaping 1/2-20 +1 OS (Over size). Went right in, torqued to 18Ft lbs w/ out stripping & I'm headed downstairs now to check for leaks before heading to work.
Anyone on west coast going to watch the C5R at Laguna this weekend? We are headed down in the AM.
