I've got an 84 with the orginal Bose system. When using the radio it appears that the passenger side speakers are louder than the driver side. If you put in a tape they seem about equal. I've never had a problem with the system but it seems like I need to turn the volume up higher to hear it than I did before. Could be a result of the mufflers (still original and getting louder with more resonese) Any help in diagnosing what is going on would be appreciated.

I have that same exact problem and can't figure out what the problem could be. I started 2 just yank out all the Bose stuff and replace it with another System altogether.

Great looking car.. What are you replacing and how much of a job is it. I read some detailed instructions for replacing the amps in the doors and doesn't appear to be a fun activity.
