dash lights blink

Do they blink or do they get dim? Since your engine is also slowing down when you are braking a low battery needs to provide additional power to the brake lights so all other electricals have to share and will get decreased power. Battery going bad or corroded terminals?

They dim them go back to normal. They don't stay dim. Even the radio light does it. Everything amber in color. The fan speed light or map light won't do it. The previous owner put one of those screw type disconnect connectors you see on street rods on the positive post. I'll clean all that and see what happens.
