the motor, sad to say.
try slamming the door REAL HARD once or twice, if it starts to run, then the motor is more than likelt the cause. They're not noted for just quitting... they die a slow death. Kinda give you warning!

Remove the door panel and check for voltage at the motor connector. Remove the connector, use a volt meter. The voltage reverses when you go from up to down. If voltage is good, it's probably the motor. BTW, I have regulators for both sides. They're used but are good.
