Chime

the chime that goes off to let you know if you left the lights on or the key in the ignition has stopped working on my 96....can someone tell me where that thing is located so I can pull it and get a new one....thanks.........

It's a known problem with the C4's. It's a PITA to get to, inside the center of the dash, behind the D.I.C. there's a small circuit board where the chim device is soldered to.

Does anyone know if you can get to it by simply removing the DIC or do you have to remove the top dash pad?
