Here is where I got my kit http://www.flatlanderracing.com/,
Don't know how they stack up to the e-bay prices but they will stand behind any thing they sell. I would just be a bit woried about ploping 1-2K down for a kit without a real shop behind the product.

Why do you need a shop to buy PARTS from. Unless you are purchasing shop services also, decide on the level of quality you need and find the most economical supplier. *I* would prefer to purchase MY shop services from a local, trusted, machine shop. Someone I can meet, eye to eye with and explain what I want. If the prices aren't too far out of line, it may pay to give the shop, the parts business, as well.

I believe it was on eBay, that I first learned of Flatlander. I didn't actually deal with them, but I was impressed with their correspondence.

RACE ON!!!

agree with what you are saying and perhaps I should have been clearer. What I was trying to say is I would not spend that kind of money without a way to contact the vendor. I also like the idea of a vendor who sells what ever I am looking to buy on a regular basis, so they are familiar with the product they are selling. Sal at Flat Lander was great to deal with and saved me a few bucks because he knew the product and was able to suggest some ways to save a few $$ and still achieve what I wanted.
