I had my transmission rebuilt a year ago by a well known vender, and it has been working fine. Decided to change the fluid and filter today to clear out any "break in" clutch material. I found two metal shims stuck to the magnet in the pan. About and inch long by quarter inch wide, labeled SHIFT KIT us pat 4711140-SK. I didn't see them when I first installed the trans a year ago. Started to think they fell out of something, but now wondering if they may just be stuck in the pan to let future people know a shift kit was installed.
Anyone know for sure what these are?
Would give me piece of mind to know they are just labels.
Thanks

TransGo shift kit comes with three accumulator washers to adjust the quickness of the 1/2 shift. Makes sense the installer put the extra washers in the pan.
