Congrat Again Corky. I just can't stay ahead of you....

As Corky mentioned the conditions were not all that great. Everyone was running about .1sec off there dials from last week, cause of the high winds that we were running in.

My best of the day was 10.47@129.45 on a 1.444 60' time. 1/8 mile MPH were 102.9s. Its crazy to look at our time slips which are within .00X through every interval, My 1/8 mile MPHs are higher than corkys but be runs quicker in the first 1/2, then my ETs are quicker in the second half than his, but he gains more MPH than I do. That still baffles me how that can be.

I am sure if the wind would have been down when we first got them when it was overcast and cold, we both would have gone into the mid 10.3s without too much trouble.

Good running this weekend guys. Can't wait to hit Jersey. Tell them they better have the track prep out for us. If not for us. Then for Dad that has a hard time hooking his beast up on a fully prepped track. Pretty bad when you totally detune a setup, and it still only marginally hooks and still runs a 10.3X!

To say the least, I think he pretty pleased with the car

Jersey here we come!

Congrats on your times. I brag about yours and Jesie's daily to others around here.

That 1.42 60' must feel good. If i remember correctly you still have 3.07 geras and 26" tall tires ? Very nice.

Do you have the spool like Jessie or do you have a posi ?

Mike

Way to go honey, you did me proud today, the only thing that would have been better would have been some $$$! but oh well. Just think someday all your hard work will pay off. Oh yeah way to go jessie, And jim for that matter and dad too (jessies dad), you all are flying in these CORKY BUILT MOTORS!!! He really worked hard on all of these cars, trust me I am the one who knows this fact best, I never see him! all the research for the combos then assembly and tuning he gave 100% to all of these guys and I know he is proud when they all do so well.
