any optima battery with SIDE POST ONLY

any optima battery with SIDE POST ONLY
i need a side post only optima or any other gel battery for my 90 vert, anyone out there know of one?? a battery with top posts and side post won't even fit into my battery bay , the top post get in the way !

There is a way to fit that battery in there, you have to file something down.
I dont believe they make a side-only post battery yet.

Guy, Vader's right. My car doesn't have the ECM out there, so all I needed to do was clip a couple ribs in the tray for it to fit. We did El Guapo's (93? +/-) LT1 and dremeled the top posts down a bit to clear to ECM bracket

If you go with the Optima, you will be really sorry you did.
I had 2 fail on me within a week of purchase. THey would not accept a charge either.
I got my money back and went with Sears Diehard Gold (The battery was 5 lbs lighter than the Optima redtop too FYI).
That said, make your decision wisely.
Im not the only person here who has had troubles with them.
