Default ac questions

thinking bout taking ac out completely.
ok this is not weather i should or not, or other ways to get around it...with that said i have a 1996 auto lt1:

ok the heater core of my car gets in the way of my Long tubes.
well i mena i have the cover that protects it from the headers off... because they wouldnt fit on with out it off. i see where the air then goes from the core to the indside of the car. can i remove the whole core and cover the place where the air then goes into the car and still get air to circulate in the car? (its winter)

please explain to me what would happen if i took out my ac compressor and heater core and plugged the hole in the firewall where the air goes through.

1. does the header core deliver hot and cold air to the indside of the car through the same vent?

The heater core is inside of the car so you must mean evaporator and housing which is part of the a/c system. Both the a/c and heater work in tandem to heat and cool the interior and if electronic air, controls are tied together through the PCM, so disabling one, may disable the other. You may also have to reflash the PCM to make it idle correctly should it get an a/c signal without the compressor in the circuit, and the blower may not work. It would be far better to find headers that fit your application. Otherwise if you do remove the case, make sure you seal the opening with something or water, exhaust fumes and anything else will easily find its way into the interior. You will also, need to find somewhere else to mount the blower module (electronic air) or resistor module (manual air). They need cool air blowing on them or they can fail fairly quickly.
