I have been searching for a site that would give the axle ratios of the 93 C4 along with the transmission gear ratios both auto and stick I need them to calculate the miles per hour per thousand rpm.
The manual is easy, www.zfdoc.com - he has all the ratios for that one. The rear gear is 3.45.
Auto? Donno that one directly, but, there is another site, www.corvettearchive.com, that has mag articals from the day. The ratios in the auto did not change, to the best of my knowledge. The rear would be either 2.59 or 3.07, you will have to check your cars RPO sticker for that one. If you have an auto and, RPO G92, you have 3.07 rear gears.
Third gear in the auto is, 1:1. The OD is 0.70"1. "G92" designates the "performance ratio", which can vary from year to year, transmission and even body style. I'm not suggesting bogus is incorrect, but there will be another "G" RPO number, that will specify the precise ratio, whether it is a "G92" or not. There are often, "discussions" over exactly what was standard and what was the "performance ratio" in a given vehicle. The "G" number, other than the "G92" will specify EXACTLY what the ratio is.
