Default 1990 cluster

The guages on my cluster have stopped working, the tach-temps don't work at all, the oil reads a little and the amp works sometimes, all fuses are good and I tried a different computer module and no help. Has one of the guages gone bad and the cluster needs replacing?

It is possible the cluster is bad. I just gave one of these clusters away in the FS forum. All of the gauges that you needed were in working order (except the tach). They are all on one section of the cluster. It is possible that the plugs are corroded or that the cluster itself is toast (most likely). Try looking on eBay, there is usually one or two clusters up ther for a decent price. Only problem is that you never know what you are going to get.

There is a place that fixes them and sells refurbished clusters. I am not sure what the name of the place is, but do a search on cluster and it will come up.

You might check with Gene Tabor (812) 331-7508, Corvette Parts Service Company. They rebuild digital clusters, I was happy with them.

Have you checked Tech Tips-here. You might also want to call Gordon Killebrew-he's the Guru.
