Headlight rotates up & close while driving.

While driving with my headlights on, the driver's side headlight will close, open, close, etc. The light is turning off when it closes.
Also the passenger side light is a little hesitant to go back down when I turn them off.
Any ideas what my problems may be and how to fix them.

This applies to most of the headlight assemblies in our C4s. Older C4 have gears that wear out, newer C4 have bushings that wear out.
If your headlight system has gears (before 87 I think) get metal replacement gears. Otherwise buy the bushing kits. Get enough to repair both sides!
I just did this on the drivers side on the 88. It was not too dificult.

It was the Headlight Actuator Relay That was causing this problem for on My '84. Kola You may want to try switching the plug's in Your relay's (In front of the left wheel well) To see if it's Your relay.
