going to get a core to build which one to get??? putting behide a mild 383 smog block

why do you want a 200R4? The vettes used a 700R4.

Not that either are great, the 700R4 is marginally stronger.

it's for a 77 P/U truck ,,,haul ,work etc. gear ratio better....
