1996 cat removal / kit ?

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of piping or kit that allows the removal of the cats on a 96 coupe ? Second question - what affect would this have on the ECU ( codes ? ).

I currently have shorty headers, so they bolted right up to the stock flanges, and after teh cats the Corsa exhaust system.

You have OBDII. There is an O2 sensor on the downstream side of the cat. You'd have to install O2 simulators to those connections to prevent a code.

It'll be louder, but not faster. The factory cats are the same ones that came on the ZR1, very big, not restrictive.
