If you are talking about C5 front brake conversion, you should be able to do it for less than $500
Ed Salinas (member here) sells the caliper brackets. new c5 calipers are arond $ 90, rotors are around $ 60 and pads around $ 110
what's that add up to?
You may need wheels though! Y2k wheels work fine, I think Zr1 do as well

Depends on what you consider big. I'm putting a 6-piston caliper with 13x1.25" rotors on up front.

If we're talking Brembo, Baer, Wilwood: one arm+one leg.
C5 brake setups go new at $700 for everything, slightly used under $500.

Or just look for a used 95-96 or ZR1 setup with J55's and 13" rotors for usually less than 200.
