Wow those do look nice. How do they fit when sitting in?
How thick is the padding? Usualy the aftermarket seats hold tight, but are uncomfortable for longer drives..

Where'd you pick them's up from? : )

Also, did the seats come with any hardware? Still have your old hardware?

We just put our hands on a prototype set of C4 seat rails which we'll be fitting to Brian's car next weekend. They're designed quite similar to our C5 setup and will only work with a side mount seat. I'll have to take a look at your email before I can comment on whether they'll work for your chosen seats. My initial thought is that your seats don't seem to be side mount, and look to be very wide for the C4 tub.

I'll be able to provide more details once we've fit our prototypes later this week.

Corbeau also makes rails, but you lose the power seats. Perhaps hardbar's rails will allow the use of the power motor. If they do, I'm definitely interested in some myself.

Forum member coupe89 made his own rails for his Corbeaus to allow the use of the power motors.

I too have a set of aftermarket seats and I am looking for somekind of mounts to fit them in my '94.I have Recaro pole position SPG seats that are side mount fitment.Dennis will these prototype mounts allow any seat repositioning ie slider mechanism for forward and backward movement or are they fixed?

I helped a friend put in similar seats...it was not in a vette though and i won't mention what the car was because someone is bound to freak out. anyway; we used steal flat stock and made a couple brakets with power tools etc. things the diy has around. and adapted the seats to existing rails. the problem i'd see for you is the fitting, those seats look bigger than stock c4 seats and this method will raise the seat by the height of said brackets. so you'll probably have clearence issues.
Basically you have 4 bolt pattern you need to achieve (the bolts in the floor of your car.) take measurements...of both car and seat patterns...then make two sets of holes in the metal stock. one bolt pattern for the seat the other will fit the floor bolts . then bolt it in. Hope this can offer some ideas.
good luck
