Default need help...

Check engine light came on today...took it to autozone to scan it and it came back "Bank 1 oxygen sensor no reading"

I replaced my oxygen sensors back in may and I just recently replaced my EGR valve and motor. What would cause this? Which side is bank 1? Thanks

bank one should be the drivers side.

if you have a multimeter, you can check the sensor yourself. set the meter to read millivolts. plug the connectors into the appropriate wires (positive\negative) and watch the fluxuations if any. If it is not reading or fails all together, you won't get a response.

The range is from 0-999. 500 being half. if the meter never crests 500mv, you are running lean, if it never dips below 500mv you are running rich. it should hover around 500 bouncing high and low rather frequently. I hope this helps!!!
