Yes, 6 speed to 4+3. I'm only asking out of curiosity, has anyone done this? If so, what's involved? I checked the archives, but I couldn't find anything (no surprise there).

I see no purpose for anyone to have ever done it before.

Go with Keisler, or Richmond, but the 4+3 is a downgrade. Why are you considering this? Parts availability?

It'd be like swapping a crossfire into a LT1 vette.

Well I dont want to understate the swap, but, you'll need the 4+3 bell housing, shifter w/linkage, push type clutch, output yoke, thinner flywheel, and cooling lines from the OD to the radiator and maybe your exhaust y-pipe could interfere casue its really tight at the rear of the OD box,,, and a spare 4+3 OD for when the first one is in for repair

Seriously though, they work well unless you opund them hard or Drag Race with decent TQ.

I figured this would raise some eyebrows. I really enjoyed some of the answers. To keep everyone's blood pressure in line, I'll try to restrict myself to more mundane questions.

Self preservation, if nothing else.

Next, swapping a Turbo 4 cylinder into a C4, will it work?

its not a bad question, its just that no one would have done it simply because its a downgrade - if someone blows their zf6 they aren't going to replace with a 4+3, and it wouldn't make sense to do just for chits and giggles
