Unaligned....

Can my car being unaligned mess up anything besides wearing tires? I want to wait til i change the front shocks before i align it, which wont be until august. Just curious if i should be driving her like that. Thanks.

I toasted new rear tires (Goodyear GSC's) in 4,500 miles because I didn't pay attention to how quickly they were wearing. It cost 80 bucks to get the car aligned (it was definitely out) and 400 bucks for new tires for the rear. My advice is get it aligned (all 4 wheels) ASAP.

Thanks. I have had my car aligned before (couple years ago), and i just recently noticed one of my back tires wearing funny, but the car didt ride funny. But now, after changing the rear shocks, i notice that when i hit a bump, the rear of the car wants to shift to the right, badly. Thats what leads me to believe its unaligned. I just dont want this to hurt the rest of the car.
