Default Not your typical custom exhaust

I got my new custom exhaust installed yesterday. I love it. I have LT headers, no cats, 3” pipes to a center Magnaflow muffler which has a 3” x pipe inside it! Then some more 3” pipes goes to the electric cutouts. After that I have the stock mufflers.

This setup is quieter than my old setup which was LT headers, no cats, stock piping using stock center muffler and stock mufflers. It is really true that an x pipe takes out resonance. You would think that I have stock exhaust it is so quite. There is no longer the 2k rpm resonance problem. I really didn’t have a problem with my exhaust before but we all know where that problem area is.

So now when I want to have some fun I click the switch on the console and I bypass the stock mufflers! I love this combination!!

Check around some more there is alot of 3" mufflers. Unless you are talking about a stock replacement type muffler.

Since this is a 3" muffler it will not fit flush inside the tunnel. I think it only measures 1/2" taller than the stocker one. I have not scraped it but I did have to remove my RD Racing Cross Frame to allow for the new exhaust.

Is there enough room left in the tunnel to add 2 bullet cats? I have to add them by Feb. to pass inspection. Right now, I am running LT, no cats and stock system.

If you want to get rid of that cross frame I might be interested if the price is right
