Gearing question............

Hey guys I was wondering about my gearing and decided the lift the car and investigate. I marked the wheel and driveshaft and made one rotation with the wheel. The driveshaft made 3 and almost 1/4 turn? That didn't make to much sense to me so I did it again and it was the same again. I thougth it had 3.73 gearing, so wouldn't it make 3 and almost 3/4 turns? If I am thinking about this wrong please let me know. Or now that I have it written down would it be .73 revolution of the wheel create 3 turns of the driveshaft? That I guess makes sense....maybe. I need some guidance on this....Thanks....

Yeah I bet you are right with the 3.07's would 1/4 turn represent .25? if so then that is what is in it.... How much of a difference would 3.73's make...improve 1/4 mile times? Thanks

If your gonna leave the tuned port induction system on it(not go to a mini ram) then the 3.07's are probably the best ratio to have.Some guys have gone to 3.45's with no measurable improvement in ET.
