I was wondering if anyone knew what the sensors are that go in the head on the passenger and driver's side.

I have "Misplaced" these sensors and the machine shop said that there weren't any plugs in the head. So what I'm looking for is any information on the two threaded fittings on the heads of the LT-1 ( I'm assuming they're temperature sensors considering both holes look to be threaded in water passages of the head).

Any help is greatly appreciated

There is a coolant temperature sensor on the passenger side head. (at least there is on my '94 LT1). This is the sensor for the analog temp gauge, not the digital display reading.

Thanks for the info. Any idea which sensor goes in the driver's cylinder head?

Thanks in advance

Nothing goes in the drivers side head. Put a plug in it.
