New TB, getting check engine light

hopefully your throttle wont stick like mine did... they told me to idle down the care with the TPS ...DUH... when the throttle is stopping before the idle stop...
RETURN TO SENDA!!!

I willing to bet you have a Code 33, which is a unrealstic airflow into the intake.
I had a BBK and took several tries before I got the minimum air speed adjusted right first, THEN the TPS setting.
Dont run the TB that way out of the box where the min air speed screw is set..adjust it to your car then adjust the TPS voltage.
That will ensure the best smooth idle and setting you can get..sometimes ya do get lucky and it only needs the TPS adjusted again but I found the idle to improve to do the min. air speed screw adjustment first.
Too many people buy these larger TB's but dont have a clue how to set them up and they return them thinking its junk..it also helps to have a scanner..if not, thats fine but may be a little harder to fine tune the set up.
Good Luck...and if your engine is stock,or near stock with no major engine work, cam, heads etc, then your car will feel a little slower off the line with a new larger TB but begin to pull better in mid range.
If the TB had an extra vacuum hole on the side and nothing went there, you need a rubber vaccum cap on it to plug it.
If not, the idle will be high around 1200 rpms.
