Default Muffler options?

I recently had long tube headers, no cats, and a magnaflow x pipe (with custom reinforcing welds) put on and the resonance is disturbing. I left the old flowmaster mufflers on that the previous owner had put on. What options are out there for decently priced, good flowing mufflers that have better resonance control? I do not really care for my car to be obnoxiously loud, I want it to sound good, but I also want to be able to talk to my passenger when goin up a hill...
Also does anyone have experience with resonator tips maybe making a difference?

Personally I like the Eliminators they don't resonate like flowmasters and they sound more crisp. Plus they're cheap 129 from Mid America

I think the last owner put 3 chambered flowmasters on because they sound healthily loud, but not earshattering like I have been told the 2 chambers sound like. Are the eliminators louder than these? Also how restrictive are they?

Eliminators are basically no mufflers at all With your exhaust mods you have, that will wake up the neighbors blocks away. The set I have on my 87 look like 2 very small glasspacks on each side. Each piece is about 12" long and not much more than 2.5" in diameter.

I'm not a fan of the SuperTrapp sound, but at least they are tuneable with the removeable discs so you can set them up as you need for sound or power.

I use to run dynomax super turbos on my old IROCZ, they flowed well and were quieter than the flowmasters I switched to later.

My eliminators don't have glass packs they're just straight pipes with badass tips
