I want to install a manual switch for my aux fan, can I just disco the wire at the thermostat switch thats in the head and ground it with a toggle switch ?

That's it. Cut the Grn/Wh wire going to the aux fan sw. If you use a DPDT manual switch you can switch between manual and normal operation. Or just use a SPST switch for full manual operation. And yes connect one leg of the switch to ground to bring the fan On.

What I did was to splice the green/white wire on the aux fan relay to the green/white wire on the main fan relay. Now the ECM pull both relays in at the same time.

Splicing the fans together might be the way to go. I think I have your main fan coming on at 190, so both fans would then come on at 190.

Aaron, I'm not sure if you set it at 190, it will hit 200 before it starts to drop to 185 on the hwy, and it just climbs to 235 in the city with the a/c on.

65Z01, Thats what I was thinking to be able to switch from manual to auto.
