should i or should i say am i able to clean my injectors and feul system
myself or should i have this done professionaly.any comments and
on this would be great.
I'm a firm believer in Berryman's Chemtool B12 fuel system cleaner which is available at most parts stores (Autozone for sure). If the injectors need a little more help check out Cruzin Performance. This guy cleans the injectors with ultrasonic waves and then flow tests each injector, it's pretty cheap too just $12 per injector: http://www.cruzinperformance.com/fuelinj.html
I had mine cleaned in the car professionally when I first got it over two years ago. Except for only a few exceptions I have been running Chevron Premium with techron ever since.
I like the Chevron Textron FI cleaner! It is not the lowest cost, but it is good stuff! Just be careful using it in years 89 thru 91 due to these Vette years having Multec injectors.
