Water Pump rebuild LT1/LT4?

Never heard of it. What kind of cost are you looking at? I know you guys get sick of me advertising electric pumps but you do away with those bearing completely. One more point of failure gone, and they have other benefits such as increased HP with few drawbacks in this particular application.
For $214 you can do away with those bearings forever.

The LT1 / LT4 water pump is driven by the cam gear, not a belt like a typical SBC. This means you can replace it with an electrical one without having to change any of your belt routing. The Meziere unit like I have does in fact come with a freeze plug to block the drive hole in the back of the water pump housing. You can remove the drive gear if you happen to have the timing chain cover off, but it is not required.
