I think it can be done but your going to need a lot of help.
I'd give you a hand Scorp if I had the Knowledge, but I'm pretty much useless.
Maybe some of the N.E. guys could give you a hand. I'd love to watch and learn a thing or two!
I don't know about the L98 engine, but I know that my cam swap and such took a week and a half, but we didn't have the ideal working condiations.
We were working from like 10am-3pm and then from 10:30pm until we were about to fall asleep. Even then there were a few days we didn't work at all. My project also sucked because we had to drop the tranny, etc in order to raise the engine to get to the crank hub, to get the timing chain cover so we could finally get to the cam. I don't know if the L98 is that much of a PITA or not. At the point we were, heads wouldn't have taken but another day, assuming you have new heads that you are just going to bolt on.
If you have the ability to work on the car, only the car, and nothing but the car, I would say that you can EASILY do it in a week.
I would help you but just to far to go, and that weekend we have a race to go to, I bet you can get guys to help you that live closer.

Thanks, I appreciate it. There is no doubting that the MA guys are all willing to jump in and help me out. That part I'm not worried about, but there is only so much room for so many hands in the engine bay.
I think the heads/cam stuff can easily be tackled by myself and my father, the Superram might be when I call in the recruits who have already installed them a few times. [img]http]//www.corvetteforum.cc/ubb/biggrin.gif[/img]
Scrop, sounds ambitious, but then I just spent a week and a half doing the valve train. I suspect you will have some sleepless nights that second week, but could be a fun challange.
Good luck...and you'll be all smiles when it's done and tuned.
If the Super Ram DOES concern you.. it should. My mechanic and I had to get ball shaped allen wrenches to get a few of them back on last summer doing the EGR Valve(WHAT A WASTE OF TIME THAT WAS). If you ever need to call or ask... BUZZ ME.. ya have the #.
Although I don't think rushing things like this on a tight schedule is a good idea, here is my $.02 from my recent motor rebuild experience:
You might want to get a Balancer INSTALLER. I don't think its a good idea to whack the balancer on with a big-ol hammer.
Also, Snap-on has this nifty thing that holds your flywheel while you tighten the bolts that will normally try to turn your motor.
Cam degree wheel and someone who can accurately use it.
Hows your rack and pinon? Does it get morning sickness? Good time to do it when the motor is out of the way. This also goes for lowering your front end. The spring pad nuts are easier to get to as well.
This is just off the top of my head, I'm sure I'll come up with more later Good luck.
