I have a 93 coupe (first vette) that I purchased recently and I noticed that it is not sitting level in the rear. About 2" difference from the tire to the fender from the r/s to the l/s. Any ideas were I should start looking?
And I'll bet the right side sits lower; one fix would be to replac the spring.
Another way to even them out is to get the rear lowering kit and just lower the high side. It isn't likely you can drop it 2" but 1-1 1/2" would get them pretty close.
hi my 87 used to sit that way. i put a rear spring on and it fixed the problem but not as much as i would have liked. i ran the car for a few thou and then had it aligned and the ride height adjusted. i've seen other c-4's that lean as well. some do some don't. still bugs the hell out of me though. good luck, hope this helps.
Just to be sure, measure the height of the frame rail to the ground on each side to confirm that the problem is not body damage repaired poorly. It is most like a delaminated rear spring though.

Thanks,

Enjoy the car! This phnomenon is the "curse of the C4"
They all do it from time to time. Mine does it intermittently (1988) and it has no effect on ride or handling
Thanks for all the help, I will check the spring for problems and the tire sizes. If everything looks good I will drive it for a while and see how it goes. This is a great board, lot of good info. Sure am enjoying my first vette, been waiting 30 years for this.
