Default Can I run C16?

I have seen a lot of turbo guys run C16 race gas but I know that it is leaded gas. I usually just run VP unleaded 105 when I race.

Can I run C16 with my application? I don't have any cats and I am running a HEGO O2 that came with my DFI.

Thanks,

paul

Yes you can run C16 fuel, if your keep running it will eventually ruin your O2 sensor. I have been running C16 on my car on the dyno and finishing it on the street. So far no problem with the O2 yet. I plan to replace the O2 with denso's sensor and it is lead resistant. While back GMHT tested the the F body and they highly recommanded. I have the part# for the LT1 F body and LT1 vette. If you will do a search, I have posted about the Denso O2 sensor while ago.

So basically the only thing I have to look out for when I run C16 is the O2? What if I switch to UEGO sensor, can C16 still kill it?

I see all the EFI turbo cars run C16 and UEGO without issues?

Are there a difference in the two sensors?
