I've looked over a few websites of LT1 owners that have installed L98 long tubes on their cars. I've read that just the most forward primaries have to be "massaged" into not hitting the motor mounts. I know they will bolt up, but just how much time/energy is going to be needed.
Can anyone give me the skinny on this? Pictures a serious plus!

I don't know what kind they were using (Hookers, I'm thinking?) but the L98 headers I have on mine right now fit better than the LT1 specific ones I tried before.

I have Hooker 2151's on my LT-1. They are a l98 header. They work great. I'll post a link for you:
Hooker 2151's will fit perfectly and you don't even have to massave the primary, just turn the motor mount bolt around the other directon.
FYI the motor mounts and header mounting location are the same for the LT1/L98, so if you had to massage the primary on an LT1 you would on an L98 as well.
