Need wiring harness help
I have aquired a '90 project car. It convertible with an automatic trans. It had and interior fire confined mainly to the radio area of the console. I could rebuild the interior wiring harness but it would be easier to just replace it with a used one.
What I need to know is I found a complete dash frame with wiring harness on ebay for a '90 model, but it is out of a 6-speed car. According to the local Chevy dealer the part #'s are different. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? Thanks.

I would think the difference would be in lighting for the automatic quadrant display... other than that? I donno.
Unless this includes harnessing to and from the ECM and CCM. But I thought all of that was handled by the serial bus.

I am waiting to hear back from the guy about shipping charges. If its not to much I'm gonna chance it, I need the dash frame anyway.
Now to find a Helms manual cheap, anybody got one for a '90?
