1986 C4 every 4-5 days without starting I have a dead battery. I replaced Alt, Starter and new Battery. The person I bought the car from said it was in the dash. All clusters refurbished, problem still occurs. Has anyone had this problem or suggestions.

All the time. I`m on my third battery, & 2nd alternator since May. If I leave the doors & hatch open to listen to the radio when I clean my car, the battery will go from fully charged, to fully dead within 20 mins. My only solution so far was to put an on board battery charger on the car, & keep it plugged in when I am not driving it. It was $39.00 at National auto.
Well, let me preface this by saying I've never tried to diagnose a problem like this, but with that said, I'll throw out a suggestion
Grab a multimeter and measure the current draw from the battery to the positive battery cable when the car is off and the key is out. Then, start pulling fuses and recheck the current draw after each fuse is pulled.
I think that would help you isolate where the problem is. I'm sure someone else will chime in with a better idea

It's easy. Pull the fuse, stick you amp meter between the two terminals and look at the value.
When you find on that's high - trace out that circuit. It's the best way to start.
