Vette trowing a code 34 was working fine before I swap my trans.
Then it started missing no power replaced plugs ,plug wires, check
fuel pressure, Don't have a clue. I own a factory shop manual
but, it didn't give you a way to fix it. I posted on c4 parts for sell
looking for a 85 MAF sensor and if you know any one selling a 86
computer and vin # for an 86 that came with the iron heads That would make my day.
You've probably got an air leak somewhere in the intake stream. Check the connection good! Clean it with some electrical cleaner. The connectors get loose after all these years, and the pins on the MAF don't make good contact. Check the accordian coupler between the MAF and the throttlebody. These crack and suck in air. Check the bottom side closely! Make sure you have the seals on the MAF!
There is a MAF on 85 corvette and it is a code 34. Anyone else want to give it a try.
I didn't say there weren't... what I was saying is that the part has been updated... I was under the impression someone wanted a new 85 MAF, and I am saying you won't get one due to the upgrade.
as for code 34, MAF, Voltage High. Sounds to me like the MAF is toast.
but check the other things suggested, first. The early MAF's didn't last very long.
