Larry, my SR manifold was ported by LPE who did a 1rst class job, I bought it used, unfortunately I don't have pics any longer (op system on pc flunked out 2 mos. ago, had to re-load it), they would have shown some excellent angles for you
Here's mine Larry, it was done by a local shop for somewhere in the neighborhood of 450 dollars or so (it was part of a package deal with some other stuff). The base is matched to a 1205, the runners to the base and the plenum to the runners. They also matched the TB bores to my TB. It flows 278 now, but I didn't get a baseline, darn it. Extrude hone told me they could get 290+ CFMs, but they wanted too much (600 bucks) and I don't really believe them about the 290+ stuff. I've never even heard urban legend about somebody getting that much out of a SR
I had mine done at http://www.totalengineairflow.com/ $399. That is where Corkvette and 85 vette had theres done to.. I have seen LPE ported version and they are nothing like TEA's.
Hey Rich, that's some pretty interesting stuff........did you know they were gonna siamese the top of the runner? Is the plenum done too? I'd think you'll get some real good numbers out of that!

I just been seeing the numbers that 85vett has been putting down. And his was done at the same place and the price was awesome. Yes the plenum is ported to. On the dyno the thing was still making power over 6k.
TEA is just South of us, so I can give em a whirl, I think Nathan does or did work there too. The obviously have expereince with the SR's.
Tim, Angie does nice work for sure!
The guy I am getting this from says he has @ 15 hours in porting of it already, he has a Supercharged 355 making 600+ HP.
So there may not be a lot of work left except welding the runners up so I can port them to a 1206. Ol'RJ did this for me on the Minriam too and it turned out very nice.
Thanks again guys, come January I'll be tinkering!
Hopefully TEA is good for you, but for me well I think they suck! They dragged me along for six months till I got fed up with their BS'ing, and I still got nothing from them but lies. I do feel lucky that I got all my stuff back, but still lost 6 months that will never see again!

So what would happen if I were to siamese the top of my runners and the floor of my plenum to those runners. My own home port job? Would that help the tq/hp curve and # on a 383, with AFR 190s, and 219 cam? Hmm... when I get some free time I may get to a dyno and try that out.
I was thinking a similiar thing myself. I'm assembling a 400 solid roller motor and I wondered if siamesed runners might give me hope of more rpm and hp. I wish there was some before and after dyno results to see if it's worth grinding away the runners and plenum...
what does plenum look like to match these runner modifications? I'm figuring on the super ram for my 400+ also. How much does these modifications hurt midrange torque? Trying to learn from those that BTDT. Thanks Ike
