Cryotron, cool... Gordon is a good friend of mine. I have three of their processors, two LT100's and an LT375 (plus the HT650 oven). How long has your friend been in the business?

Sounds like he and his friend are younger and new at thier business. Good to hear enthusiasm like that. Hopefully the're not being dissected because of their age. Sounds like two hungry gearheads trying to put food on the table. Good Luck guys!

this is true hes right out of college and Nick and I are in college. but my friend John, coating guy, is the 3rd generation metallurgist in his fam. So its not like he just started doing this.
we are just 3 guys with a good Idea and some free time. along with a huge passion for vettes!
his family's new store has been open about 6 months!
they have a huge!!! sandblasting area; where they sandblast oldcars to get them ready to be repainted. the other day i was there, there were like 4 porsches and a 67 vette! It was a beauty! and they say beauty is only skin deep, well it didnt have any skin or a hood on it and it was still awesome!
hope this helps.
kool man gald to see we have another person involved in deep cryo here to help everyone!
thanks alot your friend

You might do yourself a favor by posting a Website URL, phone/fax numbers and street address for your business. Also, spend more time editing your posts so they look professional. Skimming over it looks kinda shady.

Just my $.02

your friend,

jim

Hmm. I understand you are selling the services, but why not have parts sent to the shop C/O (your name)so you get "your ends"? Just a suggestion. Some might be hesitant to send their expensive parts to someone's house.

if sending freight then i do that. this is what i have been doing. the only reason i do that is so my friend doesnt have to worry about all the parts coming in. if you feel more confortable, then you can send the parts there! I am happy to work with you!
thanks alot your friend

Nick,
I don't mind you using my explanation of cryotreatment (posted in another thread) for the education of the forum.
However, I would insist that you have the common decency to credit it properly.
Thanks

Sean,
The point is; you are trying to supply a professional service. You MUST project a professional appearance.
Take the time to carefully edit your posts for spelling and punctuation. It will pay dividends.

A potential customer might think "if they can't take the time to do a proper job of communicating, will they take the time to do a proper job on my parts?"
Image, man, image.
Best of luck.
Larry
