clutch problem
i could use some help from everyone. i have a 1991 6speed. a short time ago this started. the clutch engages only at the uppermost part of pedal travel. over the summer it was fine. the clutch was replaced about 20000 miles ago by the previous owner(this is confirmed) it does not slip but you have to be careful as there is very little pedal travel. any ideas what is going on. also is there a good vette mech in the north jersey area. tahnks for everybodies help. russ

Engaging at the top of the travel is normal. If it starts to engage close to the floor, then you might have a problem. As long as its not slipping and your not losing fluid or have air in the system you're good.
