The air from my a/c flows through the defrost and floor vents only. It will blow cold air, but, not through the a/c vents. Wondering what is causing this. I have read a few threads on some similar problems, but, did not see the fix. Thanks!
The control unit isn't getting any vacuum, so find the source and trace it to a check valve that tees off to the cruise and then the vacuum tank. Usually the valve is shot.
There is a little Vacuum check valve on the right side of the intake under the Fuel rail covers.Looks like a little barrel with three lines coming out of it.Check it out.and the rubber hoses...usually you Cruise control will fail too.It's a cheap part form autozone or whereever.....

I agree. I have a 1996 and replaced that check valve.
on the 96 it is NOT that check valve. I too replaced that valve for NO reason. it's the box under the dash board.
there is a HUGH writeup on the corvette action center site. I have the same problem, but havn't felt like crawling under the dash yet.
