Default ok need help

I have a 94 coupe lt1. when first started the airpump is rather load until the car warms up and then stops. Not a squeal or anything but just the sound of a load motor. Not a good discription but any one have this problem?

If it's like my L98-
For the first two minutes the AIR pump is running and pumping air into your exhaust manifold, after that it should quiet down. I believe that is how the system works. If it's louder then it used to be, the bearings may be worn out...
