well we had our last autocross of the semester this saturday. it rained early that morning. but we showed up and gave it a shot. i was in the first run group, so basically we dried the track off. i had to learn how to drift, was loads of fun, but i gotta work on my 180* turns. never got that down real well. it was fun tho feeling the car going fast while aiming the other way. i got sucky times, but put on a heck of a show.

Drifting is hella fun if you know what you are doing... unfortunately it was overtaken by the ricer crowd. The 180* turns are very difficult depending on how sharp the turn is. If it is a real tight turn it is easier for me than a long 180* turn... but that's just me.
Drifting is pretty strictly prohibited here after we had a 16-18yr old first time auto-x'er come out with his 500hp rx-7 and almost hit three workers!!!
Though, I'll admit, especially in the first few races I ever did, there definitly was a "lack" of control trying to overdrive the car. But man, the price of wheel bearings keeps me from practicing!!!
