i dont see it being worth the price diffrence unless you plan on spinning you eng to extreme rpm's. i would rather take that extra $$$ and spend it elsewhere and get more out of the cash.
A shaft system would be a real pain on a street car with very few other mods. Granted it would be extrememly solid but you'd have a hard time getting them to clear the valve covers, etc. The headaches probably won't be worth the extra cost.
Upgrade to 7/16 studs and you're really good to at least 7k RPM's with a good quality stud mounted rocker.
The SBC ran for years winning many races and/or going thousands of miles with stamped rockers. I, like most folks, invested in roller rockers as my first bolt-on mod. I have often wondered just how much I gained.
