Default Ecm Testing

A friend of mine came over to the house that works for GM (a Cadillac tech) with his Tech I scanner. He has the Tech I and Tech II but since this car does not have an OBDII he knew it runs the Tech I instead of the Tech II. Well, did some tests to see if the car had any old codes in it since I just bought the car. It passed with flying colors as it had "0" codes in it. Well, we came to the point where we were testing the ECM when we came across something that showed "drivers" it had them as:
Driver 1-pass
Driver 2-pass
Driver 3-pass
Driver 4-FAIL
We noticed that "driver 4" had showen "FAILED" but do not know what this controls.
The car seems to be running good but bothers me that it has the "FAIL" on the number four driver.
any one know what this controles? B
BTW this is a 1992 vette.
Thanks in advance guys.

OK, didn't mean to stump the crowd I just wanted to know if anyone knew or was familiar with the tech I and using it on there Corvette. I knew what most of the parameters were and what they should be reading. But this threw us both for a loop, especially with the car running good.
Please can anyone help............ PLEASE
