Motor Rebuild
P.s. for those who know me the T-56 or manual transmission is out of the question
The cylinder pressures created by the 150-200 shot and extra long stroke will really be asking alot of the stock 2 bolt mains and thin .060 over walls.
Machining a block for a stroker crank is not alot. Maybe an hour on a CNC machine. Around $80.00 bux is the going rate 'round here. Someone could do it by hand with a carbide bit and air die grinder, but first mock up the stroker crank on bearings, a rod with cap and bolts and a piston. Some assemblies require little or no clearance work, some require moderate and some require lots.
You will need a camshaft that is "small base circle", and an oil pan with rails wide enough to clear the new stroke(again, mock up with the stock pan, turn the crank and see the distances).
What kit were you considering?
Sounds fun. Let us know how it goes.

oh yeah, if you don't mind me sidetracking alittle, what intake set-up will you be using? thanx
