Default Air Screen ???
What do you think about removing the air screen in the intake system? Seems to block some air! Good idea?

screen? on the MAF? no... not worth it... only picks up 3hp, and that's on modified motors...

It will not hurt anything to remove it. JMO But you will not see any big gains. If you purchase a aftermarket housing it has no screen. You might get 2 or 3 hp. I got the aftermarket housing. Probaly a waist of money but its my money (LOL)

there not screens. there air straightening fins. do a search, there's a million threads on it.
