I believe both ski_dwn_it and corkvette1 have bb 434's in theirs... I think it's 434, might be 404...
Both have 434's. The 434 is a small block with a 4.155 bore, which is a stock 400, bored .030" over and a 4.00" stroke. Both used to have 406's, which are simply, .030" over 400's.

RACE ON!!!
Ah... I assumed anything above 400 or so would need to be built on a big block... interesting
they now have a 472 sb seen it on hp tv but it's like 6k for a short block
Actually you can get a "nickle" out of a tall deck small block (that's 500" for those not familiar with engine vernacular).
Big block swaps are not common but quite a few of them have been done. I did a carbed BBC swap on an '84 almost 10 years ago. TonyDee on here has a BBC/ProCharger combo in his C4 (and he has in fact, become legendary because of it). I've got another friend that used to be on the VetteNet that bought an LPE built '91 'vert with a 540 in it...
