WINALD Question..
Has anyone ever been able to use WINALDL on an '85 vette ('870 ecm), and not get the car into diagnostic mode?
I hate the high idle and diagnostic spark tables.
I want to have the car running normal and be able to display the ECm data live for a special project I am working on.
Anyone?

In a recent post, I referenced the hex location to eliminate spark advance on a 165 ECM, have you tried that? It worked great on mine, and may have the same location for yours since GM doesnt like to change things much. It might be worth a shot. I couldnt find the link to the Corvette forum thread, but here is the one from thidgen;
