Valve Cover fitment
Anyone with a 1992 Vette and aftermarket valve covers?
Will the later composite valve covers fit?
Looking for more clearance for Roller Rockers.
Thanks

If you have center bolts you will have to cut the drip rails inside the cover.

I decided to go with the later model composite covers on my 92 and picked them up for $190 or so. Lo and behold I needed special bolts which were prob $30? Then lo and behold I needed special studs which screw into the head and the special bolts screw into them another $40 or so. Then you'll need the oil cap another $10.
Long story short I love the way the later composite covers look but is it really worth almost $300 for valve covers?
If I had it to do over I'd get some billet ones there is a company making these and they're beautiful but I can't think of the name.

Thanks and for the original poster, I have roller rockers under them. I just had to cut the oil drip tangs off with a dremel tool and cutting wheel. (Crane self-aligning narrow body RRs Gold Series)

Thanks for all the responses
Specifically I am looking at Scorpion 1.7rr's I think they are too big to fit under even modified stock covers.
I am just worried about aftermarket valve covers fitting under the alternator bracket.

I think that they will fit if you cut off the tabs. But good luck getting those rockers. I tried and gave up and just went with 1.6's.
