Time for a Hot Cam STICKY thread?
Since we're getting at least 2 threads per week on it, do you think it's time for one?
This way all the info stays together?
just a thought

I looked in tech tips and unless I missed it, it's not covered there. If not a sticky, then someone should write a tech tip on it. I could do it one of these days w/ part numbers, the variations such as cam pin length for different years, w or w/o Meziere and double roller upgrade, etc. I've got all the info laying around, at least as far as LT1/4s go. On L98s of course, it's a more straightforward cam swap due to the conventional distributor.

Awe, thanks.
And your right, perhaps a tech tip would be useful.
Infact! I am gonna add a link to the C4 tech tips main page!

I thought 96GS#007 had a link posted to his install job... I can't find it in a search, but I swear he even has pics of the "how to part"...
Bogus... it may make a good reference link in your current sticky... kinda like Nathan's dyno page. I'm going to go back and read the airfoil threads now

Some of the stickies would disappear if people would do what some of them said.
The Tech Tips is the best place for everything of this nature(cams and such).
I'm going to see if Troy can take Andy's FAQ and put them somewhere where they are readily available for all to see from any C4 section.
It may eventually become part of the "Other" drop down at the top of the page lumped in with the tech tips.
Only problem is, too many have trouble finding the general or drag racing section, they think Tech is the only part of Corvetteforum.
I need more people to explore the forum to it's fullest, there is a lot of info out there if you know where to look.

Here is where my write-up resides:
http://www.hashmarks.com/techtips/hot_cam.htm
It's basically a "how to" with 70+pics
Here is my thread from a few days ago that discusses the above:

And that's EXACTLY why I picked tech as the place to put the FAQs. Sad, ain't it.
I will still be able to edit the post?
